Developers and owners of data centres

We won't get the power we need before 2030.

A battery between the grid and the servers gives you capacity now. It takes the jumps from the AI load, replaces the diesel and shuts down in the right order if needed.

Capacity now. One battery, three jobs.

Around 12,000 MW is waiting in the queue for the Norwegian grid. A battery between the grid and the servers gives you capacity now, and meets the conditions the grid company sets.

  • Takes the jumps

AI workloads go from idle to full power in seconds. The battery takes the jumps, so the grid connection stays within the agreement.

  • Replaces the diesel

When the grid goes down, the battery keeps the whole centre running, cooling included. In some solutions it also does the job of the UPS.

  • The whole site in the reserve markets

The battery and the load can take part together, for example in mFRR. What is set aside for power cuts stays untouched. About the reserve markets.

Power cuts without panic.

If the power cut lasts longer than the battery, you shut down in steps. Not everything at once.

The same goes when the grid company asks you to reduce your load. The battery takes it first. Only if that is not enough does the load go down. With control from Nordic Booster it all happens automatically, so you can spend your time on the servers.

  • The grid goes down

The battery takes over at once.

The servers and the cooling keep running. No generator has to start.

  • The power cut lasts

    What can wait goes first.

You have decided the order in advance. Energy management warns the centre before each step.

  • The grid is back

    The battery fills up again.

The centre goes back on the grid, and the battery charges up for next time.

Four hours without the grid. Without diesel.

An AI data centre in Norway wants to replace its diesel with a battery. If the grid goes down, the battery must keep the whole centre running for four hours.

We stand between the battery supplier and the data centre. The supplier knows the battery. We know the Norwegian grid and the requirements that apply here. We ask the questions, compare the solutions and make sure that what gets built works in Norway.

The project is under way now. Energy management ties the battery and the centre together.

We do the whole job.

From the first drawing until the site is up and running.

  1. We map your needs

What you need, when you need it, and what the grid can give. We fetch the meter data.

  2. We get quotes and handle the applications

We compare suppliers and deal with the grid company, and with Statnett when needed.

  3. We install and train your team

Our own technicians commission the site and show you how to use it.

  4. We handle service and maintenance

Regular service on the battery and energy management, so the site lasts.

What you choose now is not for ever.

Build for the capacity you have now. If more grid capacity comes, or you need more hours, we add more units. How we keep an eye on it.

  • Built in modules

Start with what you need now. Add more chargers or more battery later.

  • We see your site all the time

With remote access we solve most things without driving out, often before you notice anything.

  • A service team that comes out

If someone needs to be on site, our own technicians come quickly, with parts from our stock.

Tell us about the project.

Where, how many MW, and when. Tell us too how long the centre must manage without the grid. Then we come back with a proposal for what a battery can solve for you, and what it costs.
